St. Paul’s Annual United Thank Offering Ingathering (UTO) will be on May 18. This Sunday, please take a UTO Blue Box home to use for your UTO offerings throughout the year. An offering envelop will be provided at the time of the Ingathering.

According to the United Thank Offering Committee, the UTO Mission Statement is "to expand the circle of thankful people. To achieve this mission we encourage daily prayers, offerings, and awareness of the abundance of God’s blessings."

One example of what the offerings made by Episcopalians in the U.S. in 2007 funded: The Diocese of California, San Francisco General Hospital, for the Sojourn Chaplaincy. $9,069 to fund the development and 1st year of a training program in domestic violence diagnosis, referral, intervention, and prevention education for chaplains.

All are invited to attend a Diocesan-wide celebration Sunday, April 6 at 1 p.m. on the grounds of Camp Beckwith. Enjoy a cook-out lunch, music, sharing the heritage of Camp Beckwith and more. Be part of this experience at this wonderful facility as the Camp moves into new phases of development.

The men of the church will meet for their April luncheon on Thursday, April 24, gathering in the church parking lot at 11:30 and then driving to Pascagoula for crawfish, po-boys and more at Bozo’s, a favorite, colorful local eatery. Y’all come!

It’s only a month away and we are beginning preparations for our premiere Mother’s Day Luncheon on May 10 - mark the date on your calendars. Reservations will be required and more information will soon be forthcoming. We will need volunteers to do some of the details but the luncheon itself is being catered - delicious food and we don’t have to cook it!
